Meeting the Eligibility Criteria
To join DGCA Ground Classes and eventually become a licensed pilot in India, you must meet certain requirements:

Educational Qualification: Minimum 10+2 with passing marks in Physics, Maths and English.

Age Requirements:

Student Pilot License (SPL): 16 years
Private Pilot License (PPL): 17 years
Commercial Pilot License (CPL): 18 years

Medical Requirements: A Class 2 medical certificate from a DGCA-certified examiner is needed to start. Before obtaining a CPL, you must clear a Class 1 medical examination. Good eyesight, hearing, and general fitness are required.

Specific Requirements for Female Candidates:

Pregnancy: Female students must pause training during pregnancy and for a period after childbirth, as per DGCA guidelines.
Gynecological Health: Regular health assessments are needed to confirm fitness for academic and practical training.
